Makkelijke Bruine Bonensoep

Het regent; de regendruppels kletteren tegen de ramen aan. De wind waait om ons huis heen. Het is koud en guur. Binnen is het gelukkig lekker warm. Als ik de woonkamer binnen loop staat de haard aan,het vuur knettert zachtjes. Aan tafel is het een gezellige boel. Mét een pan … Bruine Bonensoep! Zie jij het al voor je? Ik wel hoor!

Deze Bruine Bonensoep is super makkelijk te maken en zonder pakjes of bouillonblokjes. Wel met Bruine Bonen natuurlijk, aardappels, groente, vlees, kruiden en specerijen. Een échte maaltijdsoep. Wie wil dat nou niet?!

Wat heb je nodig?

(Voor 8 personen)

  • 2 grote potten Bruine Bonen
  • 2 kleine Aardappels
  • 1 grote Winterwortel
  • 3 uien
  • 1 Prei
  • 1 klein blikje Tomatenpuree
  • 1 scheut Olijfolie of 1 eetlepel Kokosolie
  • 2 liter heet water
  • 4 Kruidnagels
  • 2 Laurierblaadjes
  • 4 takjes Selderij
  • 1 eetlepel gedroogde Peterselie
  • 1 eetlepel Paprikapoeder
  • 2 theelepels zout

*Vlees is optioneel: 200 gram gerookte Spekblokjes en 1 Runder Rookworst.

Zo maak je deze Bruine Bonensoep zelf

  1. Maak de Uien en Prei schoon en schil de Aardappels en Winterwortel. Snijd de groenten in grove stukken.
  2. Doe de olie in de soeppan en verhit hem op hoog vuur. Als de olie heet is voeg je de Uien en Prei toe. Bak ze goudbruin en glazig. Daarna voeg je de Aardappels en wortels toe.
  3. Maak het blikje Tomatenpuree open en voeg de inhoud bij de groenten. Roer de Tomatenpuree door de groenten en bak het even mee.
  4. Schenk het hete water in de soeppan en roer met de garde zodat er geen klontjes ontstaan.
  5. Doe de Bruine Bonen in een vergiet, spoel ze af met heet water en voeg ze bij de andere groenten.
  6. Voeg de Selderij, Laurierblaadjes, Kruidnagels en het Zout toe.
  7. Breng de Bruine Bonensoep aan de kook en kook het net zo lang totdat je de Wortels en Aardappelen kan doorprikken. (Ongeveer 30 minuten)
  8. Zet het vuur uit en haal de Laurierblaadjes uit de Bruine Bonensoep; de Kruidnagels laat je erin voor de smaak.
  9. Nu kunnen we pureren! Zet de Staafmixer in de soeppan en pureer hem net zo glad als je zelf lekker vind. Heb je een Blender? Dan kun je de soep ook overschenken en hem op de laagste stand glad pureren.
  10. Schenk de Bruine Bonensoep terug in de pan en voeg nu de Peterselie en de Paprikapoeder toe. (Als je vlees toevoegt aan de Bruine Bonensoep kun je dat nu doen. Snijd de Rookworst in plakjes en voeg het samen met de Spekblokjes toe aan de Bruine Bonensoep.) Breng de soep nog even aan de kook en dan kan het genieten beginnen!
